Treatment of personal details in accordance with art. 13 of D. Legislation no. 196/03

Dear Client/Supplier,
Law no. 196 of 30 June 2003, provides for the “Code concerning the protection of personal details” (hereinafter referred to as the “Code”) and grants everyone the right to protection of their personal information.

In accordance with this regulation, DEMETA SRL, business address CAMERANO Via Corraducci, 35, under art. 13 of the Code, informs you that the information you supplied at the moment of finalising your contract with our company (e.g. Date and place of birth, national insurance number, bank details etc.) and any subsequent alterations, will be subject to use for the correct and timely fulfilment of the contract and the correct fulfilment of any fiscal or accounting procedures necessary according to current regulations. The information may also be used to follow up on the quality of service, after-sales service and satisfaction of our clients. Your personal details may also be used for market or statistical analysis carried out by our company for the purposes of advertising, marketing, commercial initiatives and new products/services or offers which are not part of the required after-sales service.
This use of your personal details will be carried out with correctness, legality and openness, will not exceed the guidelines above and will take full account of your rights and privacy.

Therefore, we are sending you the following information on how we intend to treat your Personal details:
a) use of the details may be made with or without electronic aids and equipment with procedures strictly related to the above-listed aims and by people who have been specifically instructed by us, fully respecting the conditions and limits in art. 11 and 31 of Code 35 and of the Technical Rules, appendix B, of the Code itself.
b)As in art. 23 of the Code, authorisation for the treatment of personal details is optional.
c)Those who may acquire or have access to your personal details because of their responsibilities for their use are: administration staff, Commercial Office staff and any of our staff expressly authorised to use the personal details of our clients and suppliers; credit institutions, insurance companies, public administration, financial administration organisations, freelance consultants, self-employed people, transportation companies and any others outside our company who have a subsidiary role in fulfilling the contract between you and us.
d) Your personal details will not be passed on without your being fully informed of the circumstances and without your express consent.

TITLE II — DATA SUBJECT’S RIGHTS

Section 7
(Right to Access Personal Data and Other Rights)

1. A data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him exist, regardless of their being already recorded, and communication of such data in intelligible form.
2. A data subject shall have the right to be informed
a) of the source of the personal data;
b) of the purposes and methods of the processing;
c) of the logic applied to the processing, if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means;
d) of the identification data concerning data controller, data processors and the representative designated as per Section 5;
e) of the entities or categories of entity to whom or which the personal data may be communicated and who or which may get to know said data in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the State’s territory, data processor(s) or person(s) in charge of the processing.
3. A data subject shall have the right to obtain
a) updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data;
b) erasure, anonymization or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they have been collected or subsequently processed;
c) certification to the effect that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.
4. A data subject shall have the right to object, in whole or in part,
a) on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;
b) to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or else for the performance of market or commercial communication surveys.
